Trade References The US Cement import situation - a complete overview
Over 100 Million tons per year of cement and cement related products such as fly ash, (ground) slag and clinker are traded and distributed by sea. The trade overview provides the reasons and backgrounds.

On December 6 & 7, 2006  a Workshop was held in Galveston, Texas  focusing on the cement import situation in the US. This workshop covered US market developments, detailed market overviews, an overview of all US import terminals, the global cement export situation, a shipping perspective and technical issues.
